Breeders of Purebred, Percentage, and Commercial Kiko Goats

Welcome to Flying Okie Farms!  We are located just east of Guthrie, Oklahoma.  We value performance over papers. 

​Our primary goal is to have fast growing kids that bring top dollar at market, raised by parasite resistant does with excellent maternal instincts.  We got our start by crossing a herd of commercial does with registered Kiko bucks, as a "breed-up" program.  This has allowed us to remain focused on selection based on performance, without the "value" of an individual's pedigree clouding our judgement.  We typically don't register a doe until she has kidded for the first time, and proved that she is a keeper.  Over time, we have added registered does from other breeders to our herd, but the majority of our does are part of our original program.
